Nike Sportswear chose to remix Nike materials within the Nike Sportswear collection with legendary French textile designer Paule Marrot Editions. Once loved by the British royal family and Jackie Kennedy, Paule Marrot Editions has been creating memorable designs since 1920. Nike Sportswear’s footwear designers integrated Paule Marrot’s “Aurore” to inspire the Butterflies print on the new “Skinny” Dunks. Paule Marrot’s textiles were heavily influenced by Marrot’s early studies as a painter under impressionists such as Pierre-August Renoir, Raoul Dufy and Maurice Denis.
