Alex van der Zouwen (Kraantje Pappie) is een Nederlandstalige rapper\/mc uit Groningen. Kraan kwam op jonge leeftijd in aanraking met de hiphop cultuur door middel van de eerste cd\u00c3\u00a2\u00e2\u201a\u00ac\u00e2\u201e\u00a2s die hij uit zijn vaders collectie griste. Bodycount en RunDMC maakte een grote indruk op hem, en zette hem aan om meer van deze muziek te gaan zoeken.<\/p>\n

Langzaam aan leerde hij ook de andere aspecten van deze cultuur kennen, maar niets deed hem zoveel als het rappen. Het spelen met woorden en het kunnen vertellen van je eigen verhaal op de meest (on)mogelijke manieren.<\/p>\n

Al snel kwamen de eerste nummers, samenwerkingen en optredens.
